My Story
I have always felt the call to the path of medicine.
My studies began as a scientist in the field of global health, working in marine mammal and sea turtle rescue-rehabilitation-research, training as a scientific S.C.U.B.A diver, and teaching in a research lab and veterinary hospital.
Going through life through the lens of dual-sight with my highly holistic education and my own personally transformative experiences, I developed a deep knowing of the interconnection of every living being. As I fundamentally considered my understanding of the world and my definition of the word “medicine” was challenged, I rediscovered art. I realized the power of sharing our individual experiences as a way to support not only our own healing, but the healing of others. I began expressing myself through new media and mixed-media art, real-time installation, traditional charcoal drawing and pastel, animation, immersive and interactive design, music, and participatory experiential art.
